We are seeking an entrepreneurial, web 2.0 savvy, Director of Product Development to open our award winning angel investor platform to the entrepreneurial community.
Who we are
Angelsoft is a well-funded web startup located off of Madison Park in NYC. Angelsoft 2.0, our free, web-based productivity tool for Angel investors is revolutionizing the way early stage finance is done by creating a clear and consistent way for entrepreneurs to find financing. With a CEO who is the chairman of the New York Angels and an associated incubator below us, not only are we a startup, we are firmly rooted in the world of entrepreneurship.
What you’ll do
We have almost all of the world’s most active angel investor groups using our software, and we are now gathering requirements for the entrepreneur platform that will enable young companies to tap this capital resource and fundamentally change the way they raise capital. Along with helping us continue to improve our investor tools, you will work with some of the best technologists, designers, IAs, and product managers in the City to create our platform for entrepreneurs from scratch.
What you’ll need
You must have a proven track record of using agile product development methodologies to bring a great software product from inception to market. Our clients and team members are passionate about this product and we need someone who can collaboratively lead us as we think through the complex business, usability, design, and technology issues associated with this platform.
Responsibilities
- Gathering business requirements
- Managing and mentoring Jr. Product Managers
- Ensuring good collaboration between team members
- Defining product iterations and schedules
- Balancing costs (both time and money) with feature development
- Day-to-day project management
